Shore Points Roller Derby poured a diverse range of brews for the audiences to two of the performance stages at Mount Holly’s music festival, Hollystock, on Saturday, August 8th 2015. The Atlantic Coast Roller Girls, who merged with SPRD earlier this year, worked hard serving beer at this same event over previous years and passed the torch to the Shore Points Roller Derby league.
The purpose of this event was to boost the economy local to Mount Holly by promoting its business-based community and by bringing attention to the town’s participation with merchants both far and near to the city. The event offered a family-friendly atmosphere for music appreciation and local artist exposure while also supporting charity causes such as VH1 Save The Music Foundation (check out http://www.vh1savethemusic.org/ to support them too!).The real kicker for the festival was the fact that entrance to the event was 100% free, money only necessary for food, merchandise, and beverages (beer included, yum...

If you are over the age of 18 and want to be part of the fastest growing sport in the world, join us at our next bootcamp kickoff on April 26th. Stop by at Recruitment Night to learn why roller derby will be your new favorite activity. We are looking for dedicated female skaters to join our roster on the track, as well as male and female referees and non-skating officials to make everything run smoothly.
Recruitment Night includes a scrimmage demonstration, overview of the Fresh Meat program, basic roller derby skating drills (wear comfortable clothes), and open skate with SPRD! Loaner gear is available, or bring your own.

Join us this Saturday in Hammonton to celebrate the holidays at our last bout of the season, which benefits the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape Map Counties, and you could be the lucky winner of our audience sign contest!
Just bring your own hand-made sign showing your love for any team, skaters, or just your love for the holidays. The sign contest will be held at half-time, and the winner will receive a great prize!
On December 6th, SPRD is coming to Hammonton to spread a little holiday cheer. Miser Mayhem will feature your favorite SPRD home teams - The High Rollers and Maidens of Mayhem - masquerading as the nostalgic holiday characters "Heat Miser" and "Snow Miser."
Will the Heat melt the Mermaids? Or will Snow freeze the Rollers? Bring a sign to cheer on your favorite teams and skaters at this fun event!
The game starts at a family-friendly time of 6:30. Kids of all ages are sure to enjoy the action, and holiday fun! Tickets are only $8 presale, $10 at the door - and kids under 10 are free!
Proceeds from this bout will benefit the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cape May and Atlantic Counties.
